Paraiso ATV Adventures We had wanted to do an ATV tour in Costa Rica, and found this company right outside of San Jose. This is the company mascot, an alligator on an ATV. They use it on their web site also: www.paraisocostarica.com Steven and Brian had Honda FourTrax atv's, I had a brand new 4wd Bombardier. Our goal was to climb to the top of this mountain, over 6000' high. The tail light cover kept falling off Brian's ATV, it was finally left off. We let Gary know we wanted the adventure tour, and so we got the steepest hills and hardest route to the top. It was great. The trails were a l-i-t-t-l-e dusty. The owner of the tour company is Gary Verzijl, he's from Holland, and still carries a Dutch accent. We reached the top in about an hour. Most groups take much longer, so we had time to ride around and learn about the company. Looking down on San Jose, from about 6000' feet. Return |
