Ossa 500 Road Racer
Christian
Dubreucq, the owner of Kilometer 66 in Amiens, launched
out in the
restoration of one 500 Ossa of track, but I shine leave the
word.
"Ci
counters the photograph of the motor bike built by Marcel
Seurat in 1972.
Inspired by the famous SPQ 250, Marcel Seurat made
build this motor bike by
Jacky Doubre (one of its employees in
Argenteuil) this motor bike which taken the
departure of several races
without success. The pilots were Pierre Marie
Decombeix
and Felix
Casabona I found a participation in the 36 eme Bol of
gold (It
carried number
36 and gave up with the 36 eme minute on fall!) I
seek all information on this motor bike
and possibly photographs of
time. I found two articles of press. Jacky Rittaud (ex Sima,
ex Kawa
today FFM) gave me some information. But several testimonys are
opposed: - there
would have been two versions, including one built
by Piron which would have been destroyed. The
second would have been
rebuilt with elements taken again on the first. All this is to be
checked.
The motor bike appeared under two preparings, one with
stars very Yankee and the other in
red and black (the version which I
restore.) This motor bike will run at the beginning
of
2006 and I
would take part in the demonstrations in margin of the Gold Bowl.
