The
Moscow subways are unbelievable. Stations are like small museums, with
artwork, bronze statues, paintings, sculptures, etc. |

They
are also very efficient, and very clean. We spent several hours the first
evening just visiting the most notable and historic stations. |

This
is a 3-D postcard of the Russian State Museum at Zagorsk. In it's many
centuries of war, this fortress was one of the few to have never fallen
into enemy hands. |

The
Russian Orthodox Church uses the unique "onion dome" style to signify their
belief in a higher spirituality. These gold leaf examples were especially
striking. |

One
of my favorite visits, St. Basils Cathedral is a world class example of
unique and inspired architectural design. Built in the 15th century by
Ivan the Terrible. |
